ReStore Xtra

ReStore Xtra is a blend of dormatized microorganisms and natural plant growth promoting substrates.  Working together they act as a microbial soil activator to increase the populations of beneficial soil organisms in all biomes.  Soil biology is a key component in both creating and maintaining a vibrant and productive soil.  Healthier soil naturally leads to healthier and more productive crops.

ReStore Xtra also influences the decay of organic materials, and subsequent humus, by introducing microbial cultures which directly affect this natural process.  In addition, these microbes also produce co-metabolites which then stimulate native organisms to further accelerate the process.

In addition, it is well recognized that soil microbial activity aids in the release of inorganic mineral reserves.  It’s common in soils with high microbial activity to realize greater phosphate availability, as well as with many other nutrient elements.  This is true in the soil immediately surrounding the root (rhizosphere) due to the symbiotic relationship between roots and beneficial organisms.

As Beneficial fungi increase in a soil, pore space is usually improved dramatically.  This provides improved water soak, as well as water retention.  It can also be of benefit in reducing soil compaction, allowing for improved aeration.  In addition, fungi can also aid in reducing the potential of soil erosion by binding themselves to multiple soil particles, forming what are commonly referred to as “peds”.

General Recommendations:

ReStore Xtra was developed as an organic solution for increasing microbial activity in the soil, and biophysical responses in the plant.  As such, benefits may include improved mineralization and decomposition of residues, higher yield, better soil texture (friability), reduced compaction, and improved water retention/drainage.

Soil Application: General rate is 32 ounces per acre.  ReStore Xtra may be applied to soil either in the fall or spring and, though not essential, a light incorporation can be beneficial.  Do not “plow” below the aerobic level of the soil.  Apply within 48 hours of dilution in application tank.

Equipment: Clean equipment thoroughly, especially if it was used previously for any pesticide usage.

Do not mix with any chemicals and avoid chlorinated water.

Used as a Compost Additive: ReStore Xtra may be used as a liquid compost starter for pile, area, tank, or lagoon; and is suitable for composting all types of organic wastes such as farm manure, straw, saw dust, wood chips, cotton gin trash, town garbage, etc.  Can handle a carbon to nitrogen ratio up to 50.  Use 150ml per ton of compost material with enough water to cover the compost pile.

Chicken Houses: Apply when. Accumulation of droppings reaches 3 to 5 cm (1.5 inches).  Apply diluted to manure at the rate of 1 liter per 30 m2.  Basic rate is 100ppm.  Total accumulation should not exceed 35 cm.  Other uses based on 1 liter per 10 m3.
